Get the option of creating documents of various types using Ubuntu Tweak 0.3.Open Ubuntu Tweak (System Tools) and go to the Personal tab and then Templates.Bring all the templates that you want from the Disabled section to the Enabled section (simply drag and drop).Close Ubuntu Tweak and right click on your desktop and come to Create Document to get new formats.
